Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and instructions, order details, notes for the restaurant, tips, and any messages, reviews, ratings or contest entries you submit.

Payment information: card and wallet payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe; Ordenado does not receive or store it. We receive limited payment details such as the card brand, last four digits, payment status and amount.

Information collected automatically: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring site, and actions such as adding items to a cart or starting a payment. We use privacy-focused analytics that do not use advertising cookies.

Location: if you allow it, we use your device location to suggest nearby restaurants or cities. You can decline or turn this off in your browser.

Information from partners: when you order through Google, an AI assistant or another partner, we receive the order and contact details that partner sends us to complete your order.

Restaurant listings on Dominican Food App include business information collected from public sources and from restaurants themselves.

2. How we use information

To process, deliver and support your order, including sending order confirmations and status updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.

To process payments, issue refunds and prevent fraud and abuse.

To operate, secure and improve the Services, including understanding which pages and features are used.

To administer loyalty programs, promotions and contests you choose to join.

To send marketing messages only when you have opted in. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link, by replying STOP to text messages, or by emailing us.

To comply with law and enforce our terms.

3. How we share information

With the restaurant you order from, so it can prepare and fulfil your order and contact you about it.

With delivery providers when a courier delivers your order (name, phone, delivery address and instructions).

With service providers that work on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of the data: payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting, database and analytics (Vercel, Supabase), email, SMS and WhatsApp messaging (such as Resend, Twilio and Meta), maps and address lookup (Google), and AI services used to power ordering assistants.

With the partner channel you ordered through (for example Google), to confirm the order status.

When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage that are needed for the Services to work, such as keeping your cart, language and selected city. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear this data in your browser at any time.

5. Retention

We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations. Other information is kept only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymized.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to receive a copy of it, by emailing team@ordenado.ai. Depending on where you live (for example California and other U.S. states), you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for using your rights. We will verify your request before acting on it and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International processing

Ordenado is based in the United States and has team members in the Dominican Republic. Your information is stored in the United States and may be accessed from other countries to support the Services, with appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and notify you of material changes when required.
